Spinach Tomato Pizza

I have been rockin’ pizza recipes lately, and this particular one does not disappoint!

Spinach Tomato Pizza

Servings: 4-5

Ingredients:

1 roll Pilsbury Thin Crust Pizza Dough

1 tomato, thinly sliced

1/2 red onion, thinly sliced

1 package frozen spinach, thawed and drained

1/4 cup tomato sauce

1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese

1/2 cup 2% shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Pre-bake the pizza dough according to package directions (5 minutes at 400 degrees).

Spread the tomato sauce over the pre-baked crust, in an even layer.

After draining the spinach (directions on properly draining frozen spinach can be found here), use your fingers to separate it and spread it out over the tomato sauce.

Lay the tomato and onion slices on top in an even layer.

Top the veggies with the mozzarella and feta cheese.

Put the pizza back in the oven for another 6-8 minutes, until the cheese is melted the crust is lightly browned.

If you’re currently unemployed, like me, you could pop open a bottle of this appropriately-named wine while you wait for your pizza to bake.

When the timer beeps, dig in to your very own healthy, homemade pizza- loaded with veggie-goodness.
